I was born to Canadian parents in Botswana (in Southern Africa) while they were on an 8 year missionary assignment (my dad had a radio program). I was a Canadian years before I lived in the country, or understood what being Canadian meant. Botswana was a British protectorate, so despite my Eastern European ancestors, I’ve been having daily tea time since I could hold a cup. Add to this a B.A. in History and Art, late-diagnosed ADHD, and 4 years of Burlesque, and you get TT Partay!

Reckless Raven is your dark mistress of dance on the burlesque stage. She began her burlesque career 5 years ago in Nanaimo and has appeared regularly there as well as at events around the island including Victoria and Courtenay. Having performed over 2 dozen original routines she has accumulated quite the costume and prop collection.

Always on the go, Cherry is the producer of House of Cheek Productions and the Shade Burlesque Festival, co-producer of the Isle of Tease Burlesque Festival, Youtube sensation at Cheeky Burlesque, and a frequent community builder. I'm the 5th generation of Vancouver Islanders in my family. I have been performing theatre, bellydance, drag and burlesque on Vancouver Island for 40 years!

I have been a member of Rider Die Burlesque (Campbell River) for 5 years and I perform with Kitty's Cabaret (Comox Valley) I grew up in a logging camp at the northern tip of Vancouver Island. My routine is a homage to my dad who was a faller, and has since passed.

Betty “Fucking” Krueger is a fat, disabled, queer performance artist and mentor. With over 15 years of experience shaking it on stages, she was the founding director of Nanaimo’s longest-running burlesque revue, where she spent over a decade cultivating new talent, crafting unforgettable shows, and building a community rooted in radical embodiment and glitter soaked storytelling. Betty is also behind Under the Fringe, a body positive radio show on CHLY 101.7FM in Nanaimo, where she uplifts fringe art, local music, and chaotic joy every Thursday at 5PM alongside co-hosts Reckless Raven and Jack. Known for her comedy and storytelling, Betty brings a signature mix of heart, heat, and humour to everything she touches.

My grandfathers side came from Ireland as indentured servants during the potato famine. My fathers family was originally from Nigeria. I grew up mixed race, in a primarily white neighbourhood, in a single parent household. I grew up poor financially but rich in the love of my family.
