Fun. Fancy. Frivolous.
Every artist starts with a story.

A Balloon Story
Why Balloons?
Balloon Twisting (a more general term for Balloon Animals) came out of wanting to create props for an onstage routines that were lightweight and wouldn't break if dropped.
My first goal was fairly advanced to start with: a teapot that would sit on my hat! Followed by balloon cupcakes, a flower arrangement and swords, the routine ended with a satisfying pop!!
Learning More....
Having balloons about the house, my two kids wanted to learn alongside me, and we starting creating swords, dogs, cats, and all sorts of fun arrangements.
School Craft Tables and Local Farmers Markets developed my 'on location' skills and expanded my balloon repertoire.
Creativity and Imagination!
The wonderful thing about balloons is you can create anything you can imagine!
Each balloon creation is like a 3D puzzle. I enjoy the problem solving and learning new skills and techniques to create the next shape!
